🌏 Strengthening Global Cooperative Ties: IE-NO-HIKARI Visits IRU in Bonn 🇯🇵 🇩🇪
Recently, the IRU hosted a delegation from our member organization IE-NO-HIKARI (Association for Education and Publications on Agricultural Cooperatives) and its affiliated association JA-Niigata, at our Secretariat General in Bonn. Twenty delegates from Japan visited to learn about the German Cooperative System.
During the visit, we exchanged valuable insights on the similarities and differences between the cooperative systems in Japan and Germany. Key discussions centered on the role of federations in auditing cooperatives and effective strategies for engaging young people in the cooperative movement.
This enriching visit underscored the importance of international collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the cooperative community.
