First IRU Connected Featured Work of Belgium Cooperative Organisation Cera
Last week, the first IRU Connected was held. This first session featured the work of our member organisation Cera. In addition to statistical figures, Mr Alain Baek and Mr Kurt Moors presented the current situation of the Belgian cooperative organisation, founded in 1892, and what currently moves it.
Furthermore, it was explored which networks and cooperation already exist within the IRU network and what added value a membership in the IRU brings to Cera.
Finally, the expectations of Cera towards the IRU were discussed. This included among others
- frequent exchange of expertise between members
- collaboration in common projects
- pooling of resources (intellectual, financial) to get members involved in topics related to sustainable development
On behalf of IRU, we would like to thank Cera for the terrific presentation! The Powerpoint and further information can be found in our “IRU Connected” section.
The first virtual exchange is intended to happen once a month. Therefore, we are already looking forward to the next IRU Connected on 17 December. Read more about it in our Events section. Then Mrs. Elenita San Roque will present the work of ACCU (Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions).
