In 2020, 101 Cooperatives were Founded under the Umbrella of DGRV – the German Cooperative and Raiffeisen Confederation.
The year 2020 was a tough one due to the COVID-19 pandemic, also for the foundation of new cooperatives.
Nevertheless, in Germany 101 new cooperatives were founded in 2020 under the umbrella of our member DGRV- the German Cooperative and Raiffeisen Confederation. The number thus increased by 87 start-ups compared with the previous year. The foundations are to be noted in the areas of commerce, housing, tourism, services, environment/energy, education and consulting, agriculture and forestry, healthcare and IT services.
