The IRU working group once again met to discuss the draft of Module 2 of the upcoming “Raiffeisen Ambassador Advanced” programme, which is currently under development. This module focuses on a central pillar of the cooperative identity: Governance.
The session provided a valuable opportunity for the participating IRU members to review the draft content, exchange perspectives, and share experiences on how to strengthen transparency, accountability, and member participation within cooperative organizations.
A big thanks to the working group members:
Manuel Hanselmann (ÖRV, Austria)
Burcak Akansel (Tarim Kredi, Türkiye)
Ryan van Hout (Rabobank, Netherlands)
Klaudia Marcus (DGRV, Germany)
Gustav Sawatzky (FECOPROD, Paraguay)
🇧🇪 Alain Baeck (Cera, Belgium)
Their diverse inputs and reflections once again demonstrated the strength of the IRU network and its commitment to further developing cooperative leadership education on an international scale.
The group discussed key governance principles, practical tools, and training approaches to ensure that the future module effectively supports cooperative leaders in navigating modern challenges while staying true to Raiffeisen’s core values.
The “Raiffeisen Ambassador Advanced” programme aims to provide a structured learning platform for cooperative professionals worldwide – connecting expertise, sharing knowledge, and promoting the cooperative identity across borders.
