New Documentary about India’s Women Cooperator and IRU Board Member Dr Nandini Azad
IRU congratulates its Board Member Dr Nandini Azad on the most recent documentary about her life “Nandini Azad: A Crusader for Women”. The documentary has been produced by the Indian Parliament and provides an account of Dr Azad’s life and achievements for women in India and worldwide, as well as the cooperative self-help movement.
Dr Azad is the President of the Indian Co-operative Network for Women Limited (ICNW) and the Working Women’s Forum in India. Since 2016, she is also Chairperson of the International Cooperative Alliance – Asia Pacific Women’s Committee.
We congratulate Dr Azad on her remarkable lifetime achievements and are proud to have her aboard as strong supporter of women and the cooperative movement worldwide!
